Sesame Seed Oil for Long Hair

Yesterday, I was deep treating my hair with my usual conditioning concoction, I decided to add a small amount of reconstructor for protein and a tablespoon of oil.  This time, I decided to use Sesame Seed Oil, which I had recently purchased from the Asian market.  I didn't realize that this oil was great for hair.  I just figured it seemed lighter than Olive Oil, which is usually too heavy for my fine hair.  I found that Sesame Seed Oil is actually awesome for hair.

I sat with my heating cap on for the duration of some cheesy movie on Netflix.  I would estimate about 90 minutes.  I noticed immediately that the one thing I could smell above all was the oil.  The scent of the conditioning treatment and reconstructor had entirely faded.  Sesame Seed Oil doesn't smell bad, but its nutty aroma definitely smells strongly of food.  When I was ready to wash my hair out, I noticed my hair wasn't entirely greasy as it usually is when I use Olive Oil.  I did have to wash it out with Kinky Curly's Come Clean shampoo, but it washed out of the hair cleanly.  Afterwards, my hair was shiny, silky, tangle free, and bouncy, but yet, faintly fragrant of sesame.

I will definitely use this oil again when deep conditioning my hair!
